Practical tips

Mark out or have marked out as precisely as possible on the ground where the cupboards are to be installed. The electrician, the plumber and the tinsmith can all make use of this additional information.
The representative must take into account where certain accessories are going to be located, such as the oven ventilator, windows, wall dimensions, plumbing already carried out, as per the work plan.
It is very important that you measure the cupboards together with the representative to work out certain things on-site, such as the dimensions of electrical appliances. This ensures that adequate space will be planned for your appliances and the cupboards will be built accordingly.
Keep the kitchen clean to ensure that the markings on the ground can be easily viewed.
Inspect the cupboards carefully together with the installer, because once the work is finished he can no longer be held responsible for any grooves and breakages which may have occurred. Countertops are very fragile.
