Practical tips

Check the condition of wires once the work is finished.
Pre-wiring a home automation system is fairly complex. Furthermore, it is specific to each system. So make sure that you have all the accessories that you purchased.
Make sure that each wire will be locatable once the drywall has been applied.
Pre-working can often be carried out by the electrician, but if the work is more specialized (for example: computer network, personalized alarm system, home cinema, etc.), it is advisable to call in a company which specializes in this type of wiring.
